I was born and grew up in China, completed my study majoring architecture in Vienna, and moved to Phnom Penh in 2017. Before this turning point of my life, I was an architect drowning myself in the sophistication of spacial design and building tectonics, while keeping my love for arts, especially paintings and music. Visiting museums and attending concerts used to be my way of taking a break from the heavy daily work. Phnom Penh, though comparatively undeveloped, aroused my interest immediately I moved here, with its fascinating integration of cultures and thoughts, which inevitably brings chaos but nurtures creation, while both are inspiration for artists of all walk. Seeing the opportunity and having a few attempts running an art school, I met a few talented dancers, and finally decided to partner up and establish this studio. So here we are, now.
The starting of the studio is simple, to work with what we love. But very soon, we realize the great possibilities we can head for, and more responsibilities we could shoulder on. Besides providing the most professional dance education to the students, we are also working to arouse the art awareness of the public by organising regular small or big performances, and sending our students to international stages overseas. We are partnering with more and more schools and enterprises to popularize the lifestyle with dance participated. We are working with NGOs and providing scholarship to local students, which is not only a sort of enjoyment, but a way of changing their visions and lives. We are also building up a more united and interactive society of artists, by involving more and more types of dances, dramas, martial arts, photography ect into our partnership. Located in the hottest area of Phnom Penh, we are setting off to become the hottest art hub in town!
